Pension contributions are limited to a gross salary of NIS 30,000. The breakdown is 6% of the calculated gross salary for the employee portion, 6.5% for the employer portion, and 8.33% for severance pay. The entire amount is deducted from total income. 

Education fund (Keren Hishtalmut) contributions are limited to 10% of a gross salary of NIS 15,717. All amounts are deducted from total income.
